Hi and Welcome to Frazzles.
The online home of local Post Natal Depression Support.
Started by a mum who has suffered from Post Natal Depression for 2 years since my daughter was 3 months old; and found no local support groups.
I am an expert at bad days when you just want to scream.
Due to the lack of PND support in Honiton this has gotten me started on a local support network which hopefully will grow online.
Everyone TRIES to understand what you are going through and partners can be very supportive; but NO-ONE truly understands this illness unless they have had it.
Unforunately although PND is more erecognised now there is still a huge amount of parents who cannot admit to themselves there is something wrong. They simply feel they are a failure or a bad mum. Not True. PND is an ILLNESS and everything your feeling is a sympton.
